AminoPin

Privacy policy

Last updated 10 October 2026.

AminoPin is a personal log and a calculator for numbers you type in. It is not a medical device and it does not choose a dose. This page is the privacy policy. It explains what AminoPin stores, where, and who can see it. The terms of use cover what the app is, who may use it, subscriptions, and liability.

Who is responsible

AminoPin is published by the developer of the app on the App Store. Contact aminopin.support@gmail.com for privacy questions, support, or legal notices.

Information you put in the app

If you use AminoPin, you may enter:

That information is stored on your iPhone, in the app’s local database, inside the app’s own storage. You own what you type. You give the app permission to store it on the device, and in iCloud if you turn that on, only so the app can show it back to you. AminoPin does not require an account. The developer does not have a server that receives your library, and does not use your library to train a model or to advertise.

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the phone. They are not remote pushes, and the developer does not receive them. Settings can hide the peptide and dose from every reminder, or turn reminders off.

iCloud

If you turn on the iCloud folder, AminoPin writes a file named AminoPin Library.json in a folder named AminoPin in your iCloud Drive. If an older file named Vial Library.json is already there, the app can still read it. Apple stores that file in your iCloud account under Apple’s terms. Another device signed into the same Apple ID can read it. You can turn the folder off in Settings. You can also delete the file in the Files app. The developer cannot read your iCloud Drive.

Apple is the only other party that can hold a copy, and only when you turn iCloud on. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to that copy. AminoPin does not give your library to any other company, and it does not ask anyone else to use it for their own purposes. Apple, not the developer, is responsible for iCloud itself, including outages, sync delays, and Apple ID security.

Notifications and motion

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone from times you set. They are not sent through a developer push server. A reminder is not a medical order. You can refuse notification permission, and the rest of the app still works. Missed, delayed, or wrong reminders are a limit of the phone and of the times you entered.

If you leave motion on, AminoPin reads the phone’s motion so the liquid in the 3D vial graphic can tilt. Those readings are used for the picture on screen. They are not saved as a history and they are not sent to the developer.

Subscriptions

AminoPin is sold through Apple’s App Store as a monthly or yearly subscription, each with a 2-week free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple processes every payment and bills the Apple Account you use. The developer does not receive your card number, billing address, or other payment details. Apple tells the app only whether your subscription or purchase is active, so the app can unlock its features. Prices, renewal, cancelling, and refunds are covered in the terms of use.

What this app does not do

Children

AminoPin is for adults 18 and older, as the terms of use require. It is not directed at children, and the developer does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The developer does not receive the records you enter in any case.

Terms of use

Your use of AminoPin is also governed by the terms of use, which include the medical disclaimer, the subscription terms, the warranty disclaimer, the limit of liability, and how disputes are handled.

How to delete your information

The library stays on the iPhone until you delete it. In the app, Settings includes Reset all app data. That deletes the library stored in AminoPin on that iPhone, and clears pending reminders. It does not delete the iCloud Drive file. Delete AminoPin Library.json, and Vial Library.json if it is still there, yourself in Files if you no longer want the copy in iCloud. Turning off the iCloud folder stops new copies. Refusing notification permission stops reminders. Uninstalling the app removes the on-phone library. A device backup may still contain an older copy until you delete that backup.

Your requests

You can ask what this policy covers, ask for a correction to how the app is described, or ask for help deleting the on-phone library. Email aminopin.support@gmail.com. If a law where you live gives you extra rights over personal information, those rights still apply. Because the developer does not hold your library, the practical way to access or erase it is on your iPhone and in your iCloud Drive.

People in the European Union

If you use AminoPin in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to the records the app stores for you.

The developer is the person who decides why the app stores your records and how it does that on your iPhone. The contact for that role is aminopin.support@gmail.com.

AminoPin stores your entries so it can show your log, run the calculator on numbers you type, schedule the reminders you set, and, if you turn it on, keep a copy in your iCloud Drive. Providing those entries is not a condition of downloading the app. If you do not enter them, the matching feature simply has nothing to show.

For ordinary records, such as settings and the names you choose, the legal basis is that storing them is needed to provide the app you asked for. Doses, injection sites, and schedules can reveal information about your health. Storing that kind of information is allowed only with your explicit consent. You give that consent by entering those records. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting the records or by using Reset all app data. Withdrawal does not affect storage that happened before you withdrew. The app does not make automated decisions that produce a legal effect on you.

You have the right to ask for access to the records, to correct them, to erase them, to restrict their use, to object to a use that is not required for the app, and to receive a copy of what you stored in a common format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU country where you live, where you work, or where the issue happened.

If iCloud is on, Apple Distribution International Limited in Ireland is the company Apple names for personal data in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Apple says that data is generally stored by Apple Inc. in the United States, and that Apple’s transfers of it out of the EEA use Standard Contractual Clauses. Those clauses, and how to ask for a copy, are described in Apple’s privacy policy. The developer does not operate that transfer and cannot read the file.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top will change and the updated page will stay at this address. The App Store listing uses this same address. Continuing to use the app after the date changes means you accept the update. If you do not accept it, stop using the app and delete it.
